Bhote Koshi
means "river from Tibet". The Bhote Koshi is one of the best
white water adventures in Nepal having class 4 and 5+ rapids with deadly
falls. Bhote Koshi is one of the recently opened rivers and represents
the forefront of river rafting and is just three hours away from Kathmandu.
It is the steepest river rafted in Nepal and totally committing with a
gradient of 80 feet per mile. Bhote Koshi lays just 3 hours drive away
from Kathmandu.
The Bhote Koshi River rafting is unique combination of exceptionally fun
and challenging rapids. Along the river side emerald green field are terraced
high above the river on sheer slopes. During the high water volumes we
run over night trips rafting and kayaking trips on the lower section of
this river with rapids from class III to IV. This is an ideal trip for
those wanting a short, but intense thrilling rafting trip. It is better
suited to those who have had some previous rafting experience.
There is not
much time to look at the mountain scenery once on this river! However,
en route there is an excellent opportunity to stop in Dulikhel to admire
the stunning views. This true adventure can be rafted between October
and December and February and April. These trips are operated from our
exclusive adventure camp situated on the banks of the Bhote Koshi. It
